He is a very smart and willing little guy! Gator was very easy to start and has been a pleasure to train. He is desensitized to bags, flags, slickers, tarps, ropes, hobbles, trail obstacles such as logs, water, bridges, teeter tooters, and hills. Gator rides out alone or in a group. He walks out with a purpose and can keep up with the bigger guys. As Gator’s knowledge progressed, he has become a favorite here at Western Trail Horses. Beginners have ridden him, and on a cold day he is fun to warm up on bareback! Gator knows how to lay down for mounting, he stands for the vets and farriers, trailer loads, and hard ties.
